[edit] Weclome to the HRWiki

Hey there. I see you're a fan of spoonerisms, though I couldn't help but notice that you misspelled "Humestar". Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that we're always happy to see new editors, and that if you have any questions about how the wiki works, you can ask me on my palk tage, or any of the sysops or other experienced users. I know that wikicode can be confusing to someone experienced with forum code. Alright, see ya around the wiki. — Defender1031*Talk 01:41, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

No, I did NOT mispell, "Humestar" I just switched the O in, "Homestar," with the U in, "Runner," and left out the E. I just think it sounds better with no E. Seriously. "Humestar," looks like, "Fumestar." TheHumstarRonner 01:47, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Relax, i was just being funny. I realize you did it on purpose. I know that you don't want Hummus in your name. I wouldn't wish that on anyone... 'Cept for maybe strong sad... Anyway, a couple of things, we tend to like to keep conversations like these in one place, so if someone leaves you a note, you can just reply to it right here. Don't worry, we'll still see it. Also, you accidentally posted on my user page rather than my user talk. I removed it planning on putting it here, but it took me too long to reply, and you posted on my talk. I didn't mean for you to think i was removing it coldly without even giving you the respect of a reply. I apologize. — Defender1031*Talk 01:57, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Ha, yea. Newbies tend to forget. But I'm not a new I've been on alot of different wiki's before this. But they were (wikiname) Not like this one. TheHumstarRonner 02:01, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Ah, good. Easier to get used to new wiki than learn from scratch. I've been around a few wikia wikis as well, so i know what you mean. — Defender1031*Talk 02:06, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Ok, so I made a little, quick Paint.NET drawing of Homsar's Bowler Hat, but I don't know how to upload it. Help please? TheHumstarRonner 02:19, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

You have to wait until your account gets autoconfirmed before you can upload images. This takes around 24 to 48 hours. It's a device to prevent spamming. After that happens, you can go to the "Upload file" link on the left side, and from there it should be pretty simple. — Defender1031*Talk 02:27, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

If you want to sign using one of those ~~~ type things, then put your completed sig on User:TheHumstaRonner/sig, than go to the first tab of your preferences page, and change the text in the "Signature:" box to this: User:TheHumstarRonner/sig.

make sure the "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" option is checked, then save your preference. cash money tc 03:08, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Your editing at 20X6 vs. 1936

Concerning this edit, two things:

  1. Please do not edit war. Repeatedly reverting others is not going to get you the version of the page that you want. You must discuss on the talk page and gain consensus for your edit.
  2. Please be civil. It's inappropriate to suggest that the wiki is stupid for allowing this reference, particularly because it implies that those supporting it are stupid. And for the record, there's more than one university-educated user supporting this ref.

You're welcome to discuss this matter on the talk page, but neither edit warring nor incivility are OK, so please stop. Thanks. Heimstern Läufer 23:32, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

I'd also like to suggest for you never to call the wiki "stupid" again. That kind of attitude towards the wiki is not recommended. --Record307 Talk/Contribs 23:46, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
