[edit] 20X6

Thanks for that info... I was trying to make a level editor and it's been taking forever to find all that stuff... I think powerups are offset by -10 (about) and checkered platforms are offset by -100 from what I've found. And damaged tampos are always on the ground, no matter the Y value. Oh, yeah, and once TBC starts coming out with "more levels soon", there'll probably be tons more formatting to learn :(. EDSMILDE

From what I've seen, everything is offset to different amounts (All objects have their own "center point" in other words). I made a little progress, but manually testing each object (to get an image, size, and centerpoint) was taking too long. I'm putting it off for now, I'll get back to it when I have more time (school is taking up all my time again)

You can get my unfinished editor here: http://v3dmm.com/downloads/stinkoedit_01.zip (It's GPL'd, so edit away) Right now, it can load maps (actually just the first map, you need to modify EditMap.py to change which level to load) and display them (right-click drag to scroll). It can't move/insert/delete objects or save maps yet though.

You'll need python and pygame to run this. You can get them here: (Install python first) Python PyGame

I'm on AIM as UnderworldSoup and on MSN as spiders_all_in_tune@hotmail.com if you have any questions.

Hope this is helpful! Wish I had time to work on it --Travis Wells 18:34, 27 Mar 2005 (MST)

[edit] Level Editor

Hey, uh, sorry that you've done all this work, but I already have a level editor. You can find it here: http://joesarcade.hopto.org:8093/stinkoman.zip or here: http://www.geocities.com/joesarcade/stinkoman.zip The geocities one might not work, they aren't letting me link to my own file.
