A big mystery surrounds Homestar's Pants. Does Homestar Runner wear skin-tight, white, long pants, or has he simply glued blue soles to the bottoms of his feet? The Brothers Chaps keep this running gag going by keeping the references ambiguous. For example, in long pants, Homestar insists that he is wearing long pants and in Not the 100th Email!!!
