It seems that the characters in the Homestar Runner Universe prefer hot glue over other forms of glue. Hot glue guns are also seen commonly.

Email lady fan — One of the Arts and Crafts supplies that Marzipan has is a hot glue gun. She does not use it.
Email death metal — Strong Bad tells the email sender to hot-glue some corn flakes to his face. Later, Homestar Runner is seen with corn flakes glued to his face.
Email redesign — Strong Bad hot glued seashells to the knobs of his washer and dryer.
Email what I want — One of the "gifts" is office supplies hot glued to a seashell.

Email 1 step ahead - It is possible for Strong Bad to glue Strong Sad's hands to his butt.
Email action figure - Strong bad claims that the googly eyes are glued on.
