:At very least, the discussion is good to keep around for future reference. In my opinion, there's no pressing reason to delete the audio files that currently exist either. I'm sure they're not being mass-downloaded, so they're not a bandwidth concern — it's only if this project got off the ground that we would face those issues. {{User:Trey56/sig}} 01:51, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Is this category neccessary? I'm not sure what the purpose of spoken articles is. Don't blind or illiterate people use screen readers? Don't hurt me if this a stupid question. Shwoo 02:27, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia has it. We should. Don't hurt me if this a stupid answer. TheYellowDart(t/c)
Good answer. I'm serious. Shwoo 02:32, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
This category contains things involved in the Spoken Articles Community Project. -- Tom 02:33, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
But the only thing there is a couple of templates. Someone should be working on it. And by that I mean, I want to wrok on it, but I'm afraid f doing the wrong thing. Shwoo 02:35, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
This project was proposed at the same time as the subtitles project, and it seems the wiki only had enough power for one of these projects. Feel free to be bold and start creating spoken articles — they'll be better than my attempt, I'm sure. And sorry, but what are you afraid of? You've been a great contributor so far, and why should this suddenly change? Erm, why are we whispering? Loafing 02:50, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
We're afraid of me, probably. I can't upload my recording because the max file upload size is smaller than the file size. — Lapper (talk) 02:58, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
[Edit conflict] Um... okay! My voice is a little monotonus, but I'll try. Because baby Strong Sad is sleeping. Actually I don't know. Shwoo 02:59, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Deletion

Now that this project has been terminated/abandoned/left for dead, shouldn't this page and the spoken article files be deleted? We could use What links here to make sure the project leaves no traces... >_> — SamSF%20sig.jpgFisher (Come in, Lambert.) 01:48, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

At very least, the discussion is good to keep around for future reference. In my opinion, there's no pressing reason to delete the audio files that currently exist either. I'm sure they're not being mass-downloaded, so they're not a bandwidth concern — it's only if this project got off the ground that we would face those issues. Trey56 01:51, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
