The Brothers Chaps have made lots of references in the Homestar Runner body of work to "Mario", one of the most famous video game series of all time. Listed below are all the references to this series in the Homestar Runner universe.

- Pumpkin Carve-nival — The King of Town's Halloween costume is of Mario himself. Likewise, Bubs' costume, Captain Lou Albano, did the voice of Mario on the TV show, The Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
