+ | Lots of "you can" phrasing here. Other rewording seems important as well ("Strong Mad's right arm is ''messed up''"??). I ain't no good at rewording; marking page for cleanup. {{User:OptimisticFool/sig}} 01:30, 24 December 2007 (UTC) |

Rumor
I heard a rumour, (no pun) that when your email was chosen by TBC to be turned into a Strong Bad Email, you were sent a link to this page. Anyone else hear something like this? - Drhaggis 15:35, 16 Sep 2004 (MST)
- In fact, during the Tandy era, everybody who sent an email to Strong Bad got an automated respose, along with a link to this page. (I hate to leave a good question un-answered) ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 18:25, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Broken Link
The new address to "The Rumor" is now broken. Probably not a big deal. oddtodd 16:18, 16 Nov 2004 (MST)
Remark
Strong Mad gets the bottle for the paper out of thin air, as most cartoons have this
I think he clearly gets the bottle from under the table. No biggie - Dr Haggis - Talk 17:52, 10 Mar 2005 (MST)
Whoops
Goof! Some times when strong mad moves his arm up (with the bottle and to remove his glasses) his arm moves, but his arm also stays on his body. TBC are getting lazy...
- Getting lazy? They made a slight goof. If you are interested in mistake-free cartoons, you are always free to create your own website and never make mistakes. What are you, some kind of robot that doesn't make mistakes? -- Tom 11:18, 19 Mar 2005 (MST)
- Plus this was one of TBC's early works. If anything, they're getting sharper. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 18:27, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Transcript
Can somebody maybe possibly make a transcript for this 'toon? I'm not goin to make one yet, since I don't know if you think it's a great idea or nit, and also because I'm not exactly the greatest at making them. --daunrealist 15:58, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- There's nothing to transcribe. Everything that happens is noted in the first section of the page, and no words are spoken.
Username-talk 15:57, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Quite True. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 18:28, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- unless of course you count strong mad yelling and strong bad laughing.-Anonomys 00:54, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
Errors/Inconsistencies
I know you people are fussy, so I won't add these to the article myself:
- The stool that Strong Bad is sitting on is actually taller than the one he sits on in actual emails. Notice it has two rungs instead of just one.
- Strong Bad's computer desk is in the middle of the room, not against the wall as in actual emails.
- There are no cables protruding from the back of Strong Bad's computer.
- Yeah, I guess "fussy" is fair. But I think it's only appropriate we are; the editors of a print encyclopedia are too. (And a heck of a lot less open to input!) And I know sometimes it's hard to know whether to make changes directly to an article just to see them reverted or to suggest them in Talk as you've done, just to see them ignored. But if you go with the first scenario and its reverted, there's no real harm done, so don't feel you can't do so.
- Anyway, thanks for pointing those out (I certainly hadn't noticed the rungs!). The only reason I wouldn't list them as errors is that this whole scene has little or no bearing on the Brothers Strong's real house. As far as we know, this room doesn't really exist, and we certainly know Strong Bad doesn't have a pneumatic tube delivering emails next to his computer. The whole thing could really be considered an Easter Egg, and they tend to carry less weight in terms of what's "real." --notstrongorbad 02:43, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)

4. The computer appears to be resting on a CPU, but no CPU was ever actually seen in normal emails.
