The Worm is constantly escaping capture by Sherlock. Although Strong Bad claims Sherlock's (generally unsuccessful) attempts to get The Worm out of the ground is Sweet Cuppin' Cakes's plot, Eh! Steve! seems to upstage both The Worm and Sherlock.
When the Worm speaks, it does so with a vaguely Mexican accent. Based on the mini-golf Commentary, it is voiced by Mike Chapman.
