"welcome, earthling..."

Star Trek is a popular science fiction series that grew from a 1960s TV series to encompass many shows, movies, and other works, becoming one of the most well-known and recognizable works in the genre. Fans of the franchise are often dubbed "Trekkies", and Strong Bad occasionally makes light of these stereotypical "dorks". In spite of this, some characters in the Homestar Runner universe, sometimes even Strong Bad, seem to be fans of the series.
