I actually figured out some of the panning controls when playing around with the Swiss-cake-roll computer from [[localhtmell]]. The sitemap uses BabylonJS as a viewer. Instructions for pan, zoom, rotate, and to set a new point in the model to rotate around are all at https://doc.babylonjs.com/features/featuresDeepDive/babylonViewer/cameraControls/.
