::::::::::Teddy Grahams is not really a good example to compare Jenga to. The former has appeared twice in the universe, has been used in an interesting context (they were spat by Homestar) and play a prominant role (i.e. you can't really fail notice them). Jenga, however, has only been ''mentioned'' so far; none of the characters have actually been seen playing the game. TBC could easily have used ''Twister'' or ''Scrabble'' if they had felt like it. Apart from the fact Homsar seems to like saying the word "Jengajam", it's just not enough. {{User:The Chort/sig}} 15:18, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

::Yeah.  If the minimum for a running gag is three mentions, then it should be restored now that Poker Night mentioned it.  With Poker Night, Where's the Cheat and concert, it is mentioned in three separate pieces of media.  And, it's said three times in Where's the Cheat (4 if you count Strong Sad's reply to Homsar's comment), bringing the total amount of times it has appeared up to five (or 6). :::I was just reading [[Strong Sad's Lament]], and saw that there was a JengaJam reference there too.  So, Jenga's had four separate occurrences, and six individual usages counting the three separate uses in Where's the Cheat.  So I think this definitely qualifies as a running gag now. [edit] Frequently? Really?

I can only think of one instance of Jenga being referenced, in Where's The Cheat?. Really not enough to constitute a running gag. Balete wbwolf (t | ed) 19:37, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

My searching isn't coming up with more refs, either, so unless we find at least two more; I'm afraid this article has got to go. Heimstern Läufer 19:39, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Well, there's concert, too, but that's still not enough occurences. Hagurumon 19:43, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Well, that's 4. Is that enough? -Espemon333
Right now we have 3, the minimum for running gags. I'm not exactly sure if it's a running gag or not though. I'm very borderline about this right now. free 22:20, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
It's not a running gag. It's a general, common item, and those need at least more then 5 appearances. Although I got to hand it to it, Janga appear in quite strange place. But it's still not enough. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:52, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Three mentions is not enough. Don't keep. The Chort 10:52, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
I have a fourth, but it dosen't mean anything if we don't get a fith. Are you sure this isn't a running gag? If no, then we wait 'till the next toon, and if it isn't Jenga-Related, then Delort. -Espe Pwnage 20:31, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Welp, on break had no Jenga. G-byeEspemon333 20:51, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Like El Cool says, Jenga shows up in some unusual places. I would argue that that is reason enough to bend the rules in this case (c.f. talk: teddy grahams). =15:04, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Teddy Grahams is not really a good example to compare Jenga to. The former has appeared twice in the universe, has been used in an interesting context (they were spat by Homestar) and play a prominant role (i.e. you can't really fail notice them). Jenga, however, has only been mentioned so far; none of the characters have actually been seen playing the game. TBC could easily have used Twister or Scrabble if they had felt like it. Apart from the fact Homsar seems to like saying the word "Jengajam", it's just not enough. – The Chort 15:18, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit] A jenga mention in poker night

Occasionally wehn taking too long strong Bad says that "this is more boring than one of Homsar's late night jenga jams. does this make the page relevent again? Guybrush20X6 19:44, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

Funny that this article got deleted a year after a consensus was reached.. and then 10 days later Poker Night at the Inventory gets released with another "jengajam" mention. Anyway, if I had known about the discussion last year I probably would have supported the articles existence even then. We've got Where's The Cheat? with Strong Sad saying "The Cheat and I play Jenga on Tuesdays", and Homsar saying "You shanked my Jengaship!" and "I just lost my Jengajam." Then we have, as part of Limozeen's contractual demands, "Jenga or Pictionary" in concert. Now, as subtitled, Strong Bad says at the poker table, "This is less fun than one of Homsar's late night Jenga-jams." Quite a few unusual usages, even if three are in one toon. I'd like to see this article revived. OptimisticFool 08:18, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Yeah. If the minimum for a running gag is three mentions, then it should be restored now that Poker Night mentioned it. I was just reading Strong Sad's Lament, and saw that there was a JengaJam reference there too. So, Jenga's had four separate occurrences, and six individual usages counting the three separate uses in Where's the Cheat. So I think this definitely qualifies as a running gag now.
