Foods items have appeared as telephones on at least three known occasions in the Homestar Runner universe. These are usually foods the user enjoys.
Given the cartoonish state of reality that is Free Country, USA (or just cartoons in general), it is possible that the food items may actually function as working telephones.
Appearances
- Where The Crap Are We? - Homestar uses a Twinkie as a phone to speak with "Senator Pencilface".
- Although Homestar imitates the telephone's ringing noise, a real clicking noise is heard when he hangs up.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 13.2 - Homestar uses a banana that he believes is Pom Pom's cell phone to text message Marzipan.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 12 — Class Prez's "CRKR" phone appears to be made of crackers.
