Matt Chapman had a Twitter account under the name "ronginald" (a reference to this strip of Ron Planet) from 3 September 2011 until 22 January 2013. In his Tweets he insisted that Homestar Runner is not over (despite having been on hiatus since November 2009, with minor comebacks in April and December 2010); displayed sketches for In Search of the Yello Dello and rejected Halloween costumes and a teaser shot of the script for the as-yet-unreleased Strong Bad Email 206; and mentioned how he currently spends his time (he works for the Nickelodeon program Yo Gabba Gabba, for which he and Mike had previously created an animated segment).
The "ronginald" handle was reactivated on 23 April 2013, but it only posted Ron Planet quotes. The creator of the reactivated account denied being Matt Chapman, saying "no, I'm just a lowly fan".
