Big Knife is one of the oldest recurring references in the Homestar universe. This inside joke's featured appearance was in the email i love you, although it appeared earlier in the Theme Song Video. Strong Bad seems to have a particular—albeit unexplained—affinity for it. The big knife appears on the Strongbadia flag, among many other places.
Sightings
- In the Theme Song Video, Strong Bad throws the knife at Strong Sad while he is strapped to a spinning wheel.
- In i love you, Strong Bad's weapon of choice makes its email premiere in his Painting of a guy with a big knife.
- In band names, one of the band names Strong Bad suggests is "Bigg Nife."
- In flag day, the knife appears in the clutches of a snake on the Strongbadian flag.
- In Everybody to the Limit, Strong Bad pops out of the Visor Robot with knife in hand.
