"You never gave me the five bucks!"

The Homestarmy is a fighting force led by Colonel Homestar Runner (pronounced "col-o-nel" by Homestar). Membership is limited to the few who has the guts, the determination, and the five bucks to join. Homestar is very confident in his meager army and has been known to try to get the said $5 from his soldiers often.

In their first and greatest known campaign, they tried to invade Strong Badia, resulting in the fiasco known as The Battle of Strong Badia. As the events in the Strong Bad Email army show, the Homestarmy never sees combat; Homestar makes the mistake of trying to recruit Strong Bad, giving him plenty of warning of the invasion. Homestar Runner cancels the invasion shortly after its start, so that Strong Bad and Strong Mad can play badminton (albeit Strong Bad and Strong Mad do not know the rules), and their disorganized retreat results in the wounding of Third-Style Private Bennedetto, a popcorn air-popper, from a kick from Strong Bad.

With Frank Bennedetto fully healed, the Homestarmy returned to their duties of ensuring that no one worked on Labor Day.

It appears that orange Tupperware bowls are the Homestarmy uniform: all members except Frank Bennedetto wear one. Other than the Painting of a guy with a big knife and Homestar's wooden spoon, they carry no weapons though Homestar claims that any who oppose them will feel their "fluoride sting". The current status of the Homestarmy is largely unknown.
