Show Preview and Categories

You archived your talk page before I had a chance to say this, but the category does show up when you preview. It's right at the bottom of the page, below the editing box, for some reason. Shwoo 01:19, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Alrighty then. Thanks, I never saw it before. TheYellowDart(t/c)

Whoa!

DVD information is added in a template, not in normal text. — It's dot com 03:19, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

What about the sbemails that Trey56 made? TheYellowDart(t/c) Wait, nevermind. It's a template. Let me make one real quick, or can I just keep doing this? Wait, I see it's already been done. Back to work with me!
Okay, yes, that's better. — It's dot com 03:24, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Edit summaries

Hey Theyellowdart. I need to point out something about edit summaries: You need to write them so they make sense in the article history, not the recent changes. The recent changes will disappear in a few days, but the article histories will be there as long as the articles are. For example, "dvd info (fixed)" doesn't make sense in the context of the page history. You should just put "dvd info". Thanks, and keep on tranglin'. — It's dot com 03:36, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Oh, wight. Gotcha covered. TheYellowDart(t/c)

Personal Images

Hey TYD, I've noticed that you have now four personal images. Each user is only allowed two of those and a small one for the signature, as outlined in the policy. Please mark two of your current ones as abandoned as explained in the policy. Also, make sure that you select the right copyright notice for images you upload. The new ones contain screenshots from movies, so that would be the right copyright notice (even if the screenshots have been modified). You also don't have to upload images if you want to include them in your user page. Like so: Misc-tpvgames.gif Hope this helps. Loafing 08:43, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Additionally, if you want to update a particular image every now and again, give it a generic name (such as Image:Theyellowdart Weekly Image.png), and use the "Upload a new revision of this file" option on the image's page. This will update the image (and retain older versions in the history). See Trey's NES endings image for an example how this could work. --DorianGray
Can't I or you just delete the old ones every week? I'll mark em. Next time, I'll name the picture a generic name. Thanks you great sysops. TheYellowDart(t/c)

Question

How do I get a gif/gif on my sigunature? Thnks, Lazylaces 21:43, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Find a picture, like mine... , and put it on the desired spot on your sig. Then, to shrink the picture down, you must make it so that it is 20 px or less, like so: . And that's it. If you need more help, ask me or a sysop. Peace, TheYellowDart(t/c)
Where can I get a marzipan and strong sad thumbnail?

14:49, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Use the quote of the week pictures. TheYellowDart(t/c)

Your recent edit summaries

Hello, Theyellowdart. I'm going to have to suggest you don't use all-caps edit summaries to try to call attention to the features on your userpage. If people don't show interest in these things, pursuing those topics even though other users show no interest in them is both annoying and disruptive, especially since these features have nothing to do with this project. Heimstern Läufer 01:35, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Once again, Trogdor comes and smite thee Dart. I'll do better next time. Well, any feedback? Baklava, anyone? TheYellowDart(t/c)
