Hey Strong Mad?

Could be just me...but I'm 90% sure that the first time Homestar say's "Hey Strond Bad" he's actually saying "Hey Strong Mad." Anyone else hear it?--ninja pirate 20:42, 10 Nov 2004 (MST)

The one thing Strong Bad described would happen on the island that was not illustrated was salting his foot.. which didn't take place until interview.

• I would have to say Decline to both of those. TBC probably have just been reusing cool ideas. Not any relation to future.

• Decline. I doubt that Strong Bad salting his foot was in anyway foreshadowing another e-mail. Especially if we don't know if they had recieved the interview e-mail at that point.

Homestar called Strong Bad Stinkoman. This is the name Strong Bad will use for his 20X6 counterpart in japanese cartoon.

• Decline Its not the first time a character was created based on a throwaway gag (Homsar for instance).
• Accept, since it's a fairly interesting point.
• Accept This has been confirmed by TBC as the original source of the name "Stinkoman". I think this is significant enough to note here as well as in "japanese cartoon". - tim333

Yami Yugi

Doesn't anyone think that when Strong Bad said "Yami Yugi" the second time (hesitant-style) he actually says Yami Yumi, a reference to the famous Japanese rock band Puffy Ami Yumi? That's what it's always sounded like. -FaceCrap 04:10, 3 November 2005 (UTC)

Homestar or Dumpface?

Was the "Dumpface" thing left in the transcript for 2 years because people actually preferred that to what he actually said or simply because no one noticed the error? Here's a link that focuses only on the edit in question. Bad Bad Guy 22:19, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

There's definitely a case for writing exactly what's on the screen. For the sbemails he receives, we always include the exact text of the email as it's received, even if he says something different (partly because of the blockquote we use for this). I still marginally favor preserving what he types, rather than what he says, simply to remain consistent with how we type the sbemail itself. It's not a big deal, though, and I'm a bit baffled as to why would bother bringing this up now, anyway, especially since the change was made over two months ago. This thead seems to come off as an effort to show how bad the editors of this wiki are to let an "error" [sic] remain. Heimstern Läufer 22:45, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
