The "Walrus Association" made its first appearance in the sbemail Senior Prom.
Seeing that the sender was Matt M. WA, Strongbad immediately assumed the Washington state abbreviation was actually an abbreviation for the fictional "Walrus Association".
Apparently Strongbad did not pay the dues for the tusks he bought, and says he will pay the dues once the Walrus Association sends them to him. Strongbad says he wishes the Walrus Association would stop bothering him.
The Walrus Association has no true signinficance to anything else in the e-mail, nor anything in any other e-mail or toon. In fact it has made no other appearances to this day.
