Matt "Lucky" Yates is a friend of The Brothers Chaps, responsible, along with Chris Brown, for making the Homestar Runner and Strong Bad puppets. He also portrayed The Red and Blue Knights in the Peasant's Quest Movie Trailer. He has puppet making experience from his work at the Center for Puppetry Arts.
He hosts the monthly show "The Lucky Yates Talk Show" in midtown Atlanta. He also appears in some Good Eats episodes, is the MC for a monthly burlesque show and the floor commentator for the Atlanta Rollergirls bouts. He is also a member of the improv comedy troupe Dad's Garage.
The Brothers Chaps appeared on the Lucky Yates Show on November 3, 2007.
