*The storyboards depict the Poopsmith having a speaking part. Apparently, he was originally going to respond to Homestar's question with a simple "Nope". It also shows the second P in Poopsmith crossed out and replaced with an H, indicating that the Brothers Chaps may have initially renamed him the "Poohsmith", but this name isn't used anywhere else, suggesting the consideration to rename the character "Poohsmith" was abandoned altogether.

Commentary Transcript

(Commentary by: Matt Chapman, Mike Chapman)

MATT: What do you think of that, Mike? "Pling!"

MIKE: So these are the storyboards for the King of Town cartoon that you did, Matt. You probably drew them at work, didn't you?

MATT: I bet I did, Mike. Don't tell anybody about that.

MIKE: That's pretty accurate. We did a pretty good job of depicting that.

MATT: Yeah, "Doo hoo hoo". That's accurate. Look at that. That top dragon has some sort of a nose or a big wart on the top of his head.

{pause until next storyboard}

MATT: Homestar says "Sure!" with a giant mouth. He doesn't do that in the final cartoon. {pause until next storyboard}

MATT: {deep voice} "No."

MIKE: Uh, so we used to storyboard stuff.

MATT: The Poohsmith, Mike, not the Poopsmith.

MIKE: Uh huh.

MATT: I- I corrected it. I wanted it to be Poohsmith, instead.

MIKE: But then when we went back to the Poopsmith.

MATT: "The chef's cook". That's not- that's- that's a typo. {Mike laughs} The king's cook.

MIKE: It's funnier as the chef's cook.

MATT: It is.

MIKE: I thought it was you being funnier, not you being a typo.

MATT: {laughs} Look, straight faced Homestar! It's a head on collision with him.

MIKE: You like those sheep.

MATT: Yeah. There's really no point to these. They're so not detailed and there's no point in me even having drawn them.

MIKE: Well, back in the day, we used to think we needed to draw storyboards for the cartoons.

MATT: Yeah, it's legit. Icebox.com did it.
