Sub-Pages

Hi Fire. I remember reading somewhere quite some time ago, (I think it was on your talk page), that Sub-Pages aren't allowed. Has this policy been changed, or did you get special permission? Yessir, certain subpages are allowed, such as archiving your talk page. HRWiki:User page explains it all. →FireBird

I think s/he's just sick of everyone complaining about his/her crappy edits. So yeah, one more bad edit and we should pull 'em outta here. →FireBird

Well that was your decision to make. Personally, I think 48 hours was a bit harsh, since s/he seemed to be cooling off, and that s/he had already deleted the image. If s/he comes back after this, I would like to give him/her another *close watched* chance. I know s/he's done alot to wreck the wiki, but his/her large list of edits, many of them solid, does show that s/he cares about the wiki. S/he's just... a bit opinionated. I know s/he cares about the wiki, but maybe just a tad to much (as in, so much as to get stubborn and insulting). Just wanted to show that we're serious when we're talking about blocking. I think this will show him/her that s/he needs to stop when someone asks, especially when it's Joey and other sysops. We're not in preschool. →FireBird

I'm kinda neutral on this whole thing. On the one hand, I do agree that Trogga's edits were getting a bit, shall we say, severe in some cases. But, given Trogga's useful edits, I was a little surprised to see that you'd actually banned him. --Jay (Talk) 00:53, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

Again, we've threatened to ban him several times and he hasn't stopped. If you think it's too harsh, we could tone it down to 24 hours, but I feel that Trogga needs to know that if he doesn't stop he will get banned. →FireBird

Hey F-Bird. I just thought I'd pass a bit of Joey Day wisdom on to you about sigs. Have you tried the template meathod? Basically it lets you shorten your code left behind, and lets you change ALL your sigs at the same time. You just put your sig code on a subpage of your userpage, (e.g. 'User:FireBird/sig' or something). Then in your prefferances box, put —FireBird|Talk. And that's all there is to it. That way, you can keep your same sig, with your arrow not being linked and everything, and then be able to use the '~~~~' meathod, I think. You could even use the timestamp! And the whole code is in one, easily viewable, *protected* place. It sure changed my life man. Spread the word! ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 18:28, 20 May 2005 (UTC)

I'm having a hard time deciding, Thunderbird. I know I'm keeping the Talk thing, but I can't decide between "→FireBird|_(Talk)" and my current one. —FireBird|Talk

I dunno, I kinda miss the green. Makes it more distinguished from other sigs, easily noticible. Plus you've had it for so long, you'd loose all that history of it to change to something completely different suddenly. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 06:11, 24 May 2005 (UTC)

H.Fairstival left/right "goof"

Just clear me up on the definition of a goof here. Do we define a goof as "a mistake a character made" or as "a mistake TBC made", or both? In which ca...I think I just nullified my own edit of the Hallowe'en Fairstival page with that arguement!

Either way, the original question still stands.

Well, any goof a character made, TBC made. I say keep it, because it is definately a goof. He points to his right when he says left, and points to the left when he says right. —FireBird|Talk

TBC could well have intentionally made Bubs mix up his left/right to show that he, like most H*R characters, isn't the smartest of souls. Heck, Bubs might have even intended to do that anyway, in that he thought the audience would find it funny. I'm thinking waaay too much in to this now. I'll go and edit things that don't require so much concentration - Tweek

TBC make the characters move and animate them. So, basicly, yes, any goof the character makes, TBC makes. But if you care this strongly about it you can add it to STUFF. —FireBird|Talk
