A number of crayons, some of unusual colors, have appeared in the Homestar Runner cartoons. While some crayons are in places most people would expect, some are in various forms.

- Old Stuff — Homestar Runner is drawn with crayons.
- for kids — There are several crayon-drawn backgrounds during Strong Bad's pretend kid's show.
- Some Extras — Little girl asks Homestar why he doesn't draw with crayons.
- coloring — The entire email is about Strong Bad and his crayons.
- Limozeen Live! - 27 Mar 2008 — One of the YouTube descriptions reads "This song is quite possibly the only metal song about crayons. "
- Hremail 62 — Homestar pulls the Brellow Crayon out of a drawer.
