Introduction

The Brothers Chap have made many references over the years to Batman, or at least the campy television show version of him. Here is a list of some of those references.

• Halloween Fairstival
  • Most obvious one: Strong Bad dresses as Cesar Romero as the Joker. Cesar Romero played the Joker in the 60's television series.
  • Strong Bad calls the Cheat and Strong Mad his "bad pennies", which is what the Joker's hencemen were called in the television series.
• i she be
  • Strong Bad says "Same Strong Bad time, same Strong Bad channel", a reference to: "Same bat time, same bat channel", a line said after every episode.
• Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 10.2
  • Homestar calls himself "Batman" during a bad attempt at a prank call.
• Where's The Cheat?
  • The Brothers Chap do a version of the scene change in the television series, using Homestar Jr. instead of the Batman logo.
• ghosts
  • Another Batman scene change, this time with Strong Bad's mask instead of the Batman logo.
  • Strong Bad tells the Cheat to meet him up at "the Strong Bad cave", a joke on the often repeated line "Quick! To the batcave!"
• dangeresque 3
  • The scene where the two Dangeresques "climb" the skyscarper is a parody of similar scenes in the old television show.
• caper
  • A sleepy Homestar calls the Cheat "Batman".
• fingers
  • The announcer in the beginning parodies the announcer in the television series.
• Main Page 11
  • If you press "E-mail", the H*R logo is projected onto the night sky, similar to the Batsignal.
