A big mystery surrounds Homestar's Pants. Does Homestar Runner wear skin-tight, white, long pants, or has he simply glued blue soles to the bottoms of his feet? The Brothers Chaps keep this running gag going by keeping the references ambiguous.

  • Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 1.0 – Coach Z recommends Marzipan puts something in Homestar's pants to cheer him up.
  • Email super powers – Coach Z and Homestar talk about the subject of tight pants.
  • Email vacationStrong Bad parodies this issue along with the question whether Homestar has arms when, while imagining an email that he might be missing, he says "How does Homestar pick stuff up if he's not wearing any Marzi-pants?".
  • Email monument (Easter egg) – Homestar says he is getting ready to put on pants, but is distracted by the Thnikkaman.
  • Pom Pom's character video – Homestar says that Pom Pom has helped him out of some tight jams and some tight pants, although that only happened once.
  • Not the 100th Email!!! – Strong Bad tells Homestar to "keep his pants on". Homestar replies, "Pants? Hmm..."
  • Email long pants – Homestar insists that he wears long pants; Strong Bad disagrees.
  • Email lady...ing (Easter egg) – Homestar tells Marzipan that he's wearing tight pants so as to "accentuate all [his] bubbleties".
  • Email highschool – Homestar's high-school self wore ridiculous stripèd pants. Teenaged Strong Bad and Teenaged Strong Mad "were all the time trying to liberate Homestar from [them]."
