Butts are referred to quite often in the Homestar Runner universe. Common themes are for example butt touching, comments on big butts, insults, and butt dances.

- Email invisibility — Strong Bad: (after Strong Mad sits on him) "Being invisible is not worth a face full of Strong Mad butt." In the commentary, Matt says: "I like the, like, butt, the sweaty butt imprint that Strong Bad's leaving on the couch there."
- Email stupid stuff — Strong Bad asks Homestar "butt's twelve by pies?", and Homsar makes a musical out of it.
