Characters in the Homestar Runner universe often eat non-food items or are implied to have done so, whether by ravenous eating habits or baldfaced ignorance.

Bubs
In unnatural, Strong Sad's plan to restore King Bubsgonzola Supreme to his normal size is to catapult a bowl of Kashi into his mouth; Bubs eats it, bowl, spoon, and all.
Coach Z
- Email secret recipes — Strong Bad tricks Coach Z into eating a bowl of sour cream and The Cheat hair.
Homestar Runner
- Email secret recipes Strong Bad gives Homestar a bowl of sour cream and The Cheat hair. Homestar soon after admits that he knew it was sour cream and The Cheat hair. Later, Homestar eats "Stupid Uncle Egg's Goodtime Diaper Pie", which is actually a pinecone.
- Email do over — Homestar, dressed as The Cheat, eats a pile of change off of the floor.
- Email theme song — Homestar is seen eating a sandwich made of lightbulbs stuck between two pieces of bread.
The King of Town
- Email monster truck — The King of Town is seen eating a cardboard box covered in pancake syrup.
- 3 Times Halloween Funjob — The King of Town eats a dozen eggs, washes them down with a roll of toilet paper and afterwards starts eating Marzipan's candy-corn lightbulbs.
- Email secret recipes — The King of Town is seen eating various deodorant products.
- Email record book — The King of Town eats a salt shaker.
- No Hands On Deck! — The King of Town spits out a remote control.
- Decemberween Short Shorts — The King of Town claims that it "wouldn't be the first time" he had been stuffed with coal. This is followed by a photo showing a plate of coal covered in onion salt and hot sauce, labeled "The King of Town's Last Three Items in the Pantry Special".
- Email unnatural — The King of Town is seen sitting at his table, with a fork stuck in it and several bite marks taken out of it.
Strong Bad
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 10 — Strong Bad stuffs the paper containing the last panel of the comic into his mouth to disguise the fact that he was making out with it, and claims that it's pizza.
Strong Mad
- The House That Gave Sucky Treats — Strong Mad eats rocks and then half an actual can of soda. (This inexplicably causes The Cheat's head to explode.)
- Email Processing Room — Strong Mad chews up a piece of paper with an email printed on it and spits it out before sending it to Strong Bad.
- Email origins — Strong Bad says Strong Mad ate The Cheat's chain-whip.
- Email narrator — Strong Mad confesses to eating his battleship. Strong Bad then claims he's "surprised Strong Mad hasn't eaten The Cheat by now."
- Sbemail 150?!? — Strong Bad claims that Strong Mad ate his 150th email.
- Email isp — Strong Mad literally sucks up bandwidth.
- Email retirement — Strong Mad, as "House-Mouth," swallows the Compy 386 whole.
