I don't claim the transcript

wait, nevermind, I DON'T claim the transcript. someone do it. anyone. just... some parts of it are unintelligable at best for me due to how tired I am. Yadaman 08:28, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

...Manchester?

Okay, I know I'm tired, but... That's one syllable, and sounds more like 'Rich' to me than 'Manchester.' WTF, dorian? Yadaman 09:12, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

I think it's actually Reg. "Reg has the ball at the top of the twenty..." You know, like, "Reg had the ball at the top of the key" in autobiography and anything. See also Top of the Key. —BazookaJoe 09:19, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
I had no idea what it was. I heard "man", so I just put "Manchester" as the first name I thought of. I figured someone would fix it. --DorianGray 09:35, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
You got the transcript done in 45 minutes. That's something to be proud of. —BazookaJoe 09:37, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
It is a pretty nice transcription, isn't it? --DorianGray 09:40, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Reg has the ball

An inside reference read: "Reg has the ball" may be a reference to the Emails autobiography and anything, both of which featured the line "Reg had the ball at the top of the key". This was removed, but I thought it was plausible. May need a re-word, and then maybe a running gag page of its own. Opinions? OptimisticFool 15:28, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure three is the agreed upon number of sightings for something to be a running gag. "Reg" fits the bill poifectly. I move for creationg Flashfight
I was actually gonna create it earlier, but i couldn't think of a good title and then i had to run out... Definitely... i put the fact back on the page. — Defender1031*Talk 17:44, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
I don't know what we should call the running gag page. We have two uses of "had" and one use of "has" .. so .. Reg Had the Ball ? *shrug* Anyway, the project is all yours if you want it, as far as I'm concerned. OptimisticFool 18:07, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Reg Having the Ball? — Defender1031*Talk 18:12, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Make sure it meshes properly with Top of the Key. —BazookaJoe 18:44, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Ugh. Reg having the ball and the top of the key are NOT two different concepts. For the love of butterscotch, merge 'em. A slight variation is okay, you know. It's the same gag anyway, even if one word is different. Geez. --DorianGray 20:28, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Nope, there have been other "top of the key" references than just reg, and this reg instance is at the twenty, not the top of the key... two separate gags. — Defender1031*Talk 20:30, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

'Mad Men' Parody?

The scene w/ Blue Lazer ("Nice gams!"). judging by the style of BL's office and his treatment of his secretary, is it possible that scene is a parody/reference of the AMC sereies 'Mad Men?'

who are we to judge

The "Bubs Friday" $chedule is missing apostrophes at the end of "SHOVIN" and before "N'". It should read "SHOVIN' 'N' TRAMPLIN'". Is there really a definitive answer to the question of the appropriate way to abbreviate slang words? Hardly seems like a goof, maybe bubs wrote it that way intentionally -Jdhannan 20:24, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Omitted letters are represented by apostrophes. In this case, those are the "g" from "shoving", the "a" and "d" from "and", and the "g" from "trampling". EYanyo 02:24, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

STUFF?

I have noticed many edits which remove fun facts. Isn't this an instance where the STUFF process of the wiki should be used instead?--Dwedit 23:43, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

No, STUFF is only used as a last resort, where no consensus can be reached by regular edits or talk page. If we STUFFed for every fact, do you realize what a mess that would be? — Defender1031*Talk 23:52, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

KOT and Marzipan segements

Could they be referencing ads where turkeys would ask people to eat ham instead? Awexome 01:21, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

No. — Defender1031*Talk 01:29, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Short Shorts?

I think this is kind of like the Summer Short Shorts and Decemberween Short Shorts, were it was kind of just random things about the holiday. Do you think this should be added somewhere in the article?

A Slew of References

Should we mention all the things this references...and if so how? Bubsonathon, A Folky Tale, Marzipan's A&C type show (from lady fan), Let us give Tanks. I mean this entire short is more or less a potpurri of inside references, and I don't think having a million-sided inside reference section is the right thing to do.Flashfight

Strong bad

Hey, you know how strong bad seemed as though his mouth seemed to smile all the time in Jibblies 2? well i dont know if it's just because he's tired but his mouth isn't the same.
