Talk:Homestar Runner E-mail
From Homestar Runner Wiki
This information should go on homestarrunner.com, if it should go anywhere at all. — It's dot com 17:09, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. It especially doesn't help that (before the applicable content was removed) the page seemed to be a call for people to steal bandwidth from TBC and use the site for free hosting. --Jay (Gobble) 18:17, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- We should simply redirect this to Email. Loafing 19:22, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- Redirect seems good. — Defender1031*Talk 23:52, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- I suppose, but how often are people going to search "Homestar Runner E-mail"? Well, I suppose a redirect couldn't hurt... --Jay (Gobble) 00:16, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
- The primary advantage, I think, is that it means we're less likely to see this page re-created someday. Heimstern Läufer 00:32, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
- It's somewhat inappropriate for the wiki to link to email addresses that are not given out on the official site, and in that case I feel the links should only be in the articles documenting their occurrence on the site. So, I propose we document
privacy@
in Legal.brotherschaps@
andween@
are already documented in the appropriate articles. I can't find any official reference tostore@
anywhere on the official site (or store). The proper email to contact the store appears to behscustomerservice@fsifulfillment.com
. I agree that Email makes the most sense as a redirect for this article. Green Helmet 16:53, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

I went ahead and redirected this page to Email. I'm aware that this was probably a little premature, since this discussion was still open ended and there wasn't an obvious consesus yet. However, the page had been edited to contain yet more innappropriate content, and some things that were just outright misinformation. Green Helmet 19:22, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
I propose this article to be put back up, as known some email is appropriate to be public and should be known to visitors to the Wiki. And Green Helmet, you said the proper email for the store is hscustomerservice@fsifulfillment.com, which is the proper email to send to about Changing or Canceling an existing order to the Store, or, to ask a Question, make a Comment, or write a Concern. store@homestarrunner.com however, found at this page, is for Retail Opportunities, Product Suggestions, and to Retrieve a Lost Gift Certificate Code. —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 02:27, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Contacts
I think this page should be included in the Contacts page. TheThingé 20:35, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- "Contacts" is for the characters' contact info within the H*R universe. These are all real-world contacts. They wouldn't fit (that's why Contacts has a "for" link at the top to Email). --DorianGray 20:44, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

This image was taken from mail.homestarrunner.com. It did not exist on the Wiki till tonight. I posted it as a personal image. Maybe someone should create an article about mail.homestarrunner.com. If this is done, I shall give permission for this image to be used in the article. —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 01:21, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
What page of article that was once deleted? —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 02:36, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

- Ok. Do you want me to move my comment to that page and then delete this talk article? —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 02:41, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- You already commented there. just leave this talk for a sysop to delete. — Defender1031*Talk 02:44, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- — Defender1031*Talk, I was about to say you should be a sysop. And I am not. But I think I am also pretty well respected around here also, and I think any user can delete an article. Except anonymus users. So, fine. I'll wait for a sysop. But next time, I'm gonna take matters into my own hands, ok? Don't think I'm being hard on you. —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 02:49, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- You are incorrect. Regular users cannot delete pages. — Defender1031*Talk 02:52, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- There is a delete tab for sysops? I thought deleting it was disposing of the content of an article. —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 02:54, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- Nope. a blanked article still exists, a deleted one does not. — Defender1031*Talk 02:57, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

I was thinking people put this in when they clear an article:
There is currently no text on this page. You can search for this page title on other pages or edit this page.
I guess not. I'm going to play some Peasants Quest. Goodnight DeFender. Or as you would say, It's 4:00 PM, what do you mean goodnight. Your like, 7 hours before in Israel, right? —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 03:06, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
