- Around the time english paper was released, Homestar Runner posted somewhere that he would, in an upcoming auction, be selling "Strong Sad's autographed Moby baby-doll tee".
- Blubb-O's Commercial — In response to Coach Z dressing up as the Drive-Thru Whale in an advertisement for Blubb-O's, Strong Bad says, "Thar she blows!", a notable quote from the novel, and has The Cheat shoot a harpoon at Coach Z.
