Transcript

{Open to a light blue background, with soft music playing. The title slowly zooms out: a banner reading "characters from yonder website", and a bubble featuring cartoony stylizations of Strong Bad and Homestar Runner. Throughout, Strong Bad speaks in a soft, relaxed tone.}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Let's let it all slip away, with another soothing episode of: Characters from Yonder Website. That's right.

{The words "that's right" are added at the bottom}

STRONG BAD: Brought to you by a grant from: GreenCheat.

{The GreenCheat logo appears on screen}

STRONG BAD: And our corporate sponsors: Smarty Juice.

{A bottle of "Swirly Font Flavored" Smarty Juice replaces the GreenCheat logo}

STRONG BAD: And Faceless Megacorp-

{A simple, circular logo with the words "Faceless Megacorp" and some black and white hills replaces the Smarty Juice}

STRONG BAD: -with a couple of hills in the logo. Look at those hills. Plant some crops... and grow some smarty juice plants. {as he speaks, crop lines appear on one of the hills, from which dozens of plants sprout, each bearing bottles of Smarty Juice} Alright, far out.

{Fade to black}

{Fade in to a soft blue background where Character 1 and Character 2 are standing}

CHARACTER 2: {unintelligble}

CHARACTER 1: {unintelligble}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Oh, what's this?

CHARACTER 2: {unintelligble}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Slow down, little buddy!

{Character 1 lifts his glove, indicating Character 2}

CHARACTER 1: {unintelligble}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Sounds like Character 2... has lost his gumption.

CHARACTER 2: {Makes sad unintelligible sounds. Drool begins to drip out from his mouth.}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Well, you know what that means. We gotta get him a little... spice o' life.

{The words "that's right" appear above Character 1 and Character 2 as both smile. Character 2 sticks out his tongue in glee.}

STRONG BAD: That's right. Let's go on an inordinately long walk.

{Character 1 and Character 2 begin walking toward the right as the words "that's right" drift off the screen.}

CHARACTER 2: {turns around and unintelligibly speaks to Character 2 before his mouth is sucked tight and shut}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} With absolutely... no talking.

CHARACTER 1: {Makes an unintelligible clever remark, only to have his mouth sucked in tight and shut as well}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} I said, with absolutely... no talking.

{Character 1 and Character 2 turn to face away from the camera and begin walking toward the horizon.}

{Cut to Character 1 and Character 2 walking rightward again. The words "inordinate enough" float by above them}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} I think that's inordinate enough.

{Cut to a wide shot. Characters 1 and 2 are standing in front of Characters 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 all in a line}

STRONG BAD: And take a look!

{Cut to Characters 3 through 7, panning slowly across them to the right}

STRONG BAD: It's Characters 3 through 7! I say there, Characters 3 through 7-

{Cut to Character 2}

STRONG BAD: -Character 2 here... {Character 2 slumps over and drools sadly} has lost his gumption.

CHARACTER 2: {unintelligible}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} That's right. Not far out. Can any of you-

{Cut to Characters 3 through 7}

STRONG BAD: -teach him a little bit o' spice?

{Cut to Character 3. As he speaks, a thought balloon containing a bottle of talc appears}

CHARACTER 3: {unintelligible}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} You got a little spice.

{Cut to the group}

STRONG BAD: And Character 5!

{Cut to Character 5. As she speaks, a thought balloon with a lumpy head appears.}

CHARACTER 5: {unintelligible}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} You got your own spice!

{Cut to the end of the line and slowly pan left across the group. Starting with Character 7, thought balloons begin to appear in sequence. Character 7 has a takeout container, Character 6 has a duck lamp, Character 5 has her lumpy head, Character 4 has a head with a collar, glasses and mustache,}

CHARACTER 7: {unintelligible}

CHARACTER 6: {unintelligible}

CHARACTER 4: {unintelligible}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Why, it almost seems like everybody's...

{Cut to Character 1 and a sad Character 2}

STRONG BAD: -got their own personal type of spice.

CHARACTER 1: {Turns to the screen and speaks unintelligibly as a thought balloon containing a bloodshot eyeball with buck teeth and a beaver tail appears above him}

CHARACTER 2: {Perks up and speaks unintelligibly. He smiles as a thought balloon containing a knocked-down glass spilling liquid appears above him. He sticks out his tongue in glee.}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Maybe if we put them all together-

{Cut to a wide shot of all the characters with their individual thought balloons. As Strong Bad speaks, the balloons fuse together and jumble up}

STRONG BAD: we can create—

{Suddenly, a chime plays and the balloon pops, vanishing}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Oh! You know what that chime means. It's time for everyone...

{Cut to Characters 1, 2 and 3. A banner with the words "Bend at the knees" drifts in from the left.}

STRONG BAD: -to bend at the knees.

{Music resumes as Characters 1, 2 and 3 bend their knees. Character 2 keeps his knees straight, but bends the rest of his body backwards}

STRONG BAD: That's right.

{Cut to a wide shot where all the characters are bending their knees. Character 5 bends forward showing crease lines on her skirt. Character 6 squashes down and stretches up}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} {singing} The time has come... to bend at the knees...

{Cut to Characters 4, 5, 6 and 7}

STRONG BAD: So I invite you, everybody, no pressure, put your mind at ease.

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} Uh, Strong Bad? {music stops, Character 1 and Character 2 look around} Homestar?

{Cut to Basement of the Brothers Strong. Strong Bad is passed out on the couch, with the Cheat's arm sticking out from under the far cushion, Strong Mad's legs sticking out from behind the couch, Homestar's leg sticking up over the back, and Coach Z's arm hanging down from the ceiling. Bottles of Smarty Juice litter the room.}

STRONG SAD: {enters from left} You guys? {stops} Whaaaaaaaat is going on in here? Were you guys drinking this— {picks up bottle from couch, squints at label} —"Smarty Juice"? This stuff expired in 2007! {squints again} It says, side effects include—

{View of label, which reads, "Side Effect May Include: Drowsiness, Euphoria, & Unbelievably Soothing Children's Programming"}

STRONG SAD: —"Drowsiness, Euphoria, and Unbelievably Soothing {cuts to close up of Strong Sad} Children's Programming". Hm. Doesn't sound half bad. {wide shot} Down the hatch! Down the hatch. {gulps down contents of bottle}

{Cut to close up of Strong Sad, who turns to camera. His eyes and mouth shrink with deflating balloon sound effect. A thought balloon with image of a coffee mug with a picture of a dagger appears.}

STRONG SAD: {quickly} Mope mope, mope-mope-mope-mope-mope mope, mope mope mope mope mope. {starts to fall backwards}

{Wide shot. Strong Sad slowly tilts backwards, making a soft whining noise. Suddenly falls over with a crash, leaving the Smarty Juice bottle to spin in the air, before bouncing off the couch off to the left, then crashing on Strong Sad's (presumably) head.}

{Cut back to light blue background. The text "that's right" writes itself in the center.}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} That's right.
