Thumbnail Issues

The four shrimp images(File:TwitterStinkomanPrawn1.jpg, File:TwitterStinkomanPrawn2.jpg, File:TwitterStinkomanPrawn3.jpg, File:TwitterStinkomanPrawn4.jpg) for this tweet are not rendering. I wonder if it has anything to do with their size (4096 x 4096)? We could use some admin help on this one. Worst case, should they be re-uploaded at a smaller resolution? --Stux 16:37, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

Not an admin but I've also noticed this occurring with high-resolution images; I remembered the original version of File:standalonedisc.jpeg, 3264×2448, had issues with a thumbnail — checking there now it seems that it's not a matter of waiting a few days as months later there is still an "error creating thumbnail". With GIFs it usually takes a day or so to create a thumbnail but it seems there's an additional issue with very high-resolution still images. -- Bleu Ninja 18:08, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
