Spin my buzzer— I mean, sign my yearbook!

Homestar's Yearbook was a guestbook for visitors to homestarrunner.com to leave a message and contact info, connecting with other fans and the Brothers Chaps.

The yearbook was retired some time after 2002. The header animation is still on the site, albeit not linked to from any pages.

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Sign my yearbook! {pause} But don't use any swears, because... my mom reads it.

The message could be submitted by clicking "Sign the Yearbook!" or revised by clicking "I wrote something dumb. I wanna change it."

A hatnote on archived versions of the page reads "from now on, this page will live under "EMAIL" off the home pages", indicating this yearbook once served as the Email page.
As of November 2002, there were over 6,600 signatures to the yearbook.

Although it is unknown when this page was created, Homestar's character design indicates this was created around early 2001 (that is, after the initial release of A Jorb Well Done).
The yearbook uses MivaScript, as indicated by the page's ".mv" filename.
Homestar requests the signatory not use any swears (a request not all visitors were willing to oblige).
The concept of Homestar's mother — or indeed any characters' parents — is largely avoided in the body of work, making her mention here an outlier.
An alternate version of the navigation bar sits at the top and bottom of the page. It uses a different font, and links to the homepage at the end rather than the beginning:

In Back To A Website, Strong Bad sings that he wants to "sign that guestbook" as a browser window opens the yearbook page.
