Old Everybody Intro is an early introduction video for homestarrunner.com. It is the first to show a main character lineup, and the Poopsmith is included. Unlike its successor, the sound is not synced to the video.

KIDS: {in background} Everybody! Everybody! Everybody! Everybody! {repeats for the duration of the intro, for a total of 14 "everybody"s}

{A white line traces an outline of the eleven main characters standing together in a group. The word "everybody" is written in white cursive both above and below the outline.}

{The outline becomes a solid white silhouette, and quickly moves closer to the viewer with a sunburst effect behind it until the screen is completely covered with white. A blue floor with stars moves in from the right, which Homestar's silhouette, moving in from the left, starts running across. A sky made of multiple stripes of orange, from a large yellowish band at the top to a deep orange at the bottom, and having a spinning translucent white sunburst at the horizon, comes down to meet the floor. The camera follows as Homestar runs past silhouettes of Marzipan, The Cheat, Strong Mad, Strong Bad, The Poopsmith, Pom Pom, Coach Z, Strong Sad, Bubs, and The King of Town, each a different color.}

{As the floor ends and Homestar runs offscreen away from it, the sky moves up, revealing the white full-screen closeup of the silhouette of the main characters, which quickly moves away from the viewer with several ghost images left behind. The background is now yellow. Two sets of sparkles appear, moving horizontally past each other to produce each of the words "homestar runner", one on top of the other, in the center of the screen. The sparkles disappear and the words soon fly out of view with brief trailing images. A black line traces around the silhouettes, which then become fully colored. The group slowly moves closer to the viewer as the word "enter" fades in below them in black cursive.}

Explanations

• Homsar had yet to be created (in the 2001 Strong Bad Email homsar), hence his absence from the character lineup. By 2003, he would be considered among the main characters.

Trivia

• "Allverybody" is a portmanteau of "all" and "everybody".
• This is the first appearance of the "Everybody Everybody" theme song.
• The colors of the silhouettes are:
  • Homestar Runner — white
  • Marzipan — pink
  • The Cheat — yellow
  • Strong Mad — blue
  • Strong Bad — red
  • The Poopsmith — peach
  • Pom Pom — yellow
  • Coach Z — green
  • Strong Sad — grey

• This toon is not linked to from anywhere on the site.

Remarks

• Though the filename is "intro2", this is actually the third Flash introduction to the site.
• The Poopsmith was not originally considered a main character, having been created as a one-off sight gag. By the time of this intro and the Yearbook Character Page, he had risen in prominence.

Fast Forward

• The interior art of the Everything Else, Volume 2 DVD includes a screencap of this intro; however, this toon is not included on the DVD.
• In 2021, this was featured on the index page's "old crap corner" as "Old Website Intro"; this feature was also posted to Twitter on January 18, 2021
