:I have no idea why that would have happened. I reinitialized the counter, and it shot up to 2,055. Who knows whether it's right now, how long it's been wrong, how much it's been wrong, when the last time it was right, when we actually hit 2,000 articles, or whether the number matters in the grand scheme anyway. — [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 05:48, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

::This is now fixed. The problem was that the <nowiki>{{#ifexist:}}</nowiki> parser function wasn't working for a somewhat less than obvious reason, namely that they subtly refactored some of the core code in preparation for the next upgrade and we were a little too bleeding edge on the version of parser functions we were using. What I've put us on now is actually a hybrid between the 1.12 version and the latest version, incorporating some small but important improvements while leaving out the big change that caused #ifexist not to work. — [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 05:48, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

::::Aha. Yes, I see that now. Given that it's not a problem with the upgrade, it's not something I can do anything about directly from here, and it's something that will take care of itself in time, I'm not going to worry about it too much. — [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 15:40, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Page count

The page count has gone from 2000 to 1964. Correct me if I am wrong, please. -- Lazylaces Talk 13:20, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

I have no idea why that would have happened. I reinitialized the counter, and it shot up to 2,055. Who knows whether it's right now, how long it's been wrong, how much it's been wrong, when the last time it was right, when we actually hit 2,000 articles, or whether the number matters in the grand scheme anyway. — It's dot com 05:48, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] No Subtitles

I can't find the subtitles at the side of the page on any toon. Where did they go? -Ben

Yeah. Hmmm. They seem to be missing. In the meantime, at least they can still be found here. OptimisticFool 04:41, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
This is now fixed. The problem was that the {{#ifexist:}} parser function wasn't working for a somewhat less than obvious reason, namely that they subtly refactored some of the core code in preparation for the next upgrade and we were a little too bleeding edge on the version of parser functions we were using. What I've put us on now is actually a hybrid between the 1.12 version and the latest version, incorporating some small but important improvements while leaving out the big change that caused #ifexist not to work. — It's dot com 05:48, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Bad Email Strong

Google displays Strong Bad Email as Bad Email Strong.

I can't find that on Google. Do you have a link? My best guess is you're seeing a cached result from April Fools' Day. — It's dot com 18:08, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, we're aware of that one. It's actually a problem due to the server move and not something to do with the MediaWiki upgrade. We haven't had time to get to the bottom of it yet, but we will soon. — It's dot com 17:18, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
