[edit] Image

I'm thinking we could add a main image for this place. I'm thinking the map menu for the Maps and Minions map Strong Bad has in SBTF (Strong Badia the Free) would be the best. Any suggestions? User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 22:43, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

I dunno. We already have several images, and you know what they say: "Too many images on an article is an awesome thing, but too much of an awesome thing is really dumb...and bad. Homestar-Winner (talk) 23:43, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mini-Countries

I'm not sure if they're notable enough to each warrant a separate section header, but I think there should be at least a small blurb about the rest of The Field/Concessionstantinople areas. The fence, Gremlin, etc. flags and names ought to be at least mentioned somewhere, I think. Another paragraph in Bubs' country? A subsection of that? Their own section? Their own individual sections? Also, maybe mention some of the areas on the Deluxe Maps and Minions game board (the ones without individual sections already)? Does "The Castle" count as a country? What say you, users? --DorianGray 05:24, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

I agree that they should get a mention. I was thinking a while ago that there could be a section for "Minor Countries" or similar. Each country is probably only significant enough for us to name it and say what "real" FCUSA location it corresponds to. (Note: written before Dorian's later comments; so it doesn't take those into account.) Heimstern Läufer 05:28, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Poopslavakia/Free Country breakup

Why in the world would The Poopsmith forge his own country? Didn't he help The King of Town place SB under arrest in the beginning? Strongkinghomsarsmith 18:41, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps the King gave him his own country as a reward. We don't know; it's never stated. We can only speculate. --DorianGray 18:42, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Flags

Shouldn't we make pictures of the flags? Raiku 00:30, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Like the ones already on the page? — Defender1031*Talk 03:24, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
Possibly he means the flags of the minor countries, but I'm not sure. --Belthazar 03:33, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
What Belth said. The minor countries. Raiku 00:14, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
I think we should have an entire description for the minor country.
Like this:
(Insert flag pic)
"The Unions Republic of Front-au-Fence takes place on the front side of the fence in the field. Like Consessonstantinople and all the other minor countries, it is never conquered. It is a pun on Port-au-Prince, the capital of Hati."

[edit] Should "Country" be "COUNTRY"?

Given that it's founded by he of zero volume control and spelt with all capital letters on the flag, should we have the name down as COUNTRY or abide by standard capitalisation? (Would hardly be the first F in English class this franchise got.) Guybrush20X6 18:07, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

I agree, I added the caps ----J∃ffJMan 19:52, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
On Strong Bad's Maps and Minions board, it's spelled with lowercase letters, and the subtitles also have it lowercase (except when Strong Mad says it, of course). So, maybe not. The Knights Who Say Ni 02:47, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
That checks out, I didn't think to check the game. Also, how did the all caps break the internal links? Just curious. ----J∃ffJMan 18:27, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
Links on this wiki are cap sensitive, that's how Homsar and homsar lead to different pages. (First being the misspelling brought to life, the second being his debut email.) Guybrush20X6 19:16, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
In this case, Country redirects to Countries in Strong Badia the Free#Country, and when the section was changed to "COUNTRY", the anchor didn't recognize the all caps version, so it just redirected to the top of the page. The Knights Who Say Ni 01:23, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
