According to Yearbook Character Page, Disco Tech is a college where Bubs attends night classes to dance off extra pounds. It is mentioned as one of the answers to the second question of the Homestar Quiz. In rated, Bubs can be seen wearing a Disco Tech hoodie.

Its name is a pun on the word "discothèque", an entertainment venue or club where recorded music is played by disc jockeys through a PA system. The similarly-named school "Disko Tech" appears in an episode of Batman, a television series frequently referenced by The Brothers Chaps.
