The way that Strong Bad widens the screen is a reference to Ellen's Energy Adventure at Epcot in Walt Disney World. Ellen DeGeneres widens the screen by saying "Left side! Right side! A little wider.. there ya go!"

  1. This is a somewhat obvious reference. Also, it would make sense since TBC live somewhat close to Florida.

Arguments against:

  1. This is somewhat less than obvious. In fact, it's probably a coincidence.
  2. I've been there myself. The way she says it is nothing like the way strong bad says it.
