Steak is a common food in the Homestar Runner universe, and is frequently mentioned by Strong Bad.

- Where My Hat Is At? — A grill is shown with a steak on it.
- Marshmallow's Last Stand — At one point, the sign has a picture of a steak on it. The caption below reads "Nice to MEAT you!"
- The House That Gave Sucky Treats — One of the items available to give to Marzipan is a steak. If selected, Marzipan will respond irritably as Strong Bad slips several more steaks into her bag.
- Where's The Cheat? — Towards the end of the cartoon, The King of Town is shown holding a steak.
- Email island — One of the things Strong Bad imagines Homestar turning into is a steak.
- New Boots — Strong Bad tells The Cheat that he would have got a trophy full of Steak-umms if he had shown more effort in his Flash animation.
- That a Ghost — One of the headstones reads "Steakface McGee".

- Email parenting — The King of Town's Castle has been converted into a "family-friendly" '70s-style steakhouse called SteaKasTle. As noted in an Easter egg, the restaurant's logo has two steaks in it.
