[edit] Debatable?

Are "hot fries" of the bagged variety properly French fries? I really don't know myself, interested in others' opinions. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 02:50, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

I've had bag-type fries (of a not-hot variety, coz the hot ones, like, cause second-degree burns). They're similar to French fries, I guess. The first ingredient on the list is "potato", and, despite the crispness, are lighter than potato chips in texture-styles. They're hovering between fries and chips, really, although slightly nearer to fries. Slightly. --DorianGray
I don't think "Hot Fries" belong on this page. They're closer to potato sticks than French fries both in final product and method of creation from my understanding - ISTC 02:32, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
With another mention in parenting, I'd like to revisit this. I don't think hot fries quite fit on this page. They're called fries and they look like fries, but they aren't really actual french fries. As the previous poster said, they're more like seasoned potato stick/chip snacks. (And sometimes they can be made with corn instead of potato). At the least, maybe they should be separated to their own section (or their own page?) -113.37.226.89 03:51, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

[edit] Spoons

How is this a useful article and not an example of "Spoons" syndrome? Sure, they reuse the drawing of fries, but there's not much notable about them at all. --TimMierz 17:49, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

As little as I undersand the Spoons article, there are a couple of good ones in there. I say it stays. Espemon333 15:42, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
