I don't really know if this one fits in the "Pseudocharacters" category with everyone else there - most of the category is inanimate objects that are treated as people, but this one is a figment of Strong Bad's imagination. --Jay (Talk) 15:46, 9 October 2005 (UTC)

I agree with Jay here. Considering how the Pseudocharacters category is a recent concoction, it only seems natural that such a mislabeling would occur. Considering It's dot com made the change, I would like to hear his reasoning before we reach a decision. —THE PAPER PREEEOW 06:33, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

... It's been a month. No response... --Jay (Talk) 18:16, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Well, this page isn't exactly on my watchlist. I sure don't see goatface as a character, since he has no lines, no established personality, and was a one-time gag. I also agree that he's not even a pseudocharacter. What does that leave? Don't we have a category for made-up stuff? — It's dot com 18:24, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Why don't we just delete it? – The Chort 18:30, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Well, the article is fine, and the progression of images is cool. No wonder I couldn't find a "made-up" category. It's just an article about animalIt's dot com 18:36, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Delete? Merge?

What should we do with this article?

Merge it with/redirect it to Obviously Phony Aliases. I think we can do without the pictures, and everything else is either there or on the Answering Machine page. --Jay (Talk) 15:57, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
And move the information under a new heading? It just doesn't fit in the article as it is. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:13, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Could you clarify what you mean? I literally don't know which way you're leaning with that statement. --Jay (Talk) 17:44, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
At this time I'm natural. All I was asking is where in the Phony Aliases article would the information be put. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 17:49, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
I don't think most of it needs to be, since what isn't there is on the Answering Machine page. It's basically summarizing Strong Bad and Homestar's messages. A redirect to the Answering Machine page would suffice in my eyes as well. Also, Goatface isn't really a character in any sense of the word, in that Strong Bad simply made "him" up for a poorly-thought-out prank in a single Answering Machine 'toon, and while I wouldn't put it past TBC, I doubt he'll appear again. --Jay (Talk) 18:15, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
I think it shouldn't be deleted - rather merged to somewhere else - or even left as is. Daurnimator 14:48, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
Leave it as is! Lopolo42
After a rather small amount of abandoned deliberation, I have merged Goatface with Obviously Phony Aliases as per the suggestion of Jay. — Lapper (talk) 08:07, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
