Talk:Marzipan's Ukulele
From Homestar Runner Wiki
Should we mention the ukulele from Teen Girl Squad Issue 6? Exobably not, but it's just a suggestion. SaltyTalk! 06:27, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
- Good idea, but this is MARZIPAN'S UKULELE page. And besides, the TGS's ukulele isn't really an instrument, just a prop for the Haiwiain man Sbmaniac
If Luau came after Audition with Marzipan, then the reason for the existence of the Ukulele given in the article (that a ukulele is more appropriate for a luau) cannot be true, unless Luau was already in the works when Audition was created. If however, the two were created in the opposite order, as previously listed here but not on Audition or Luau, everything would make sense. So which is it?
- This still has not been resolved! It's crucial to get this right, as Audition is a featured toon.70.21.216.114 20:21, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Eh, we'll get it tomorrow, when it's no longer featured. =3 --DorianGray
- In All Toons, The Luau is listed as being the earlier toon, but it seems to be just a guess. Loafing

- Yeah, coz it's not listed on H*R.com updates 2001. --DorianGray
[edit] Koa Pili Koko
Although the make is unknown, we can assume it is a koa pili koko, based on the headstock koa pili kokos are known for.
I'll admit straight away that I'm not all that familiar with Ukuleles. But, a quick image search for Koa Pili Koko does reveal they have a distinctively shaped headstock, rounded on one side and coming to a point on the other. Which is not the shape of the headstock on Marzipan's Ukulele. I removed the above remark, if I've misunderstood this, please explain. Green Helmet 21:11, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what's with the pro koa pili koko agenda arouund here.. but it still doesn't look like it has that distinctive shape. Please explain before readding the comment to the article.
