[edit] Name
Should we rename this to auditorium? We've seen more than the stage.--Mr. Sparkle 20:55, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I was just about to post about the concern. Besides the fact that I don't recall any occurrence of any stage being called "the stage," there are too many and they all look different for the most part. Please don't bite my head off, but I think that changing the article's name to "Auditoriums" would be a good move. — Darth Katana X ( )
- The Brothers Chaps call it "the stage" in stand-up's commentary. -- Tom 01:03, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- As they would say in a situation like this down at Wikipedia, fancruft. They said "the stage from wherever," not "it's called 'the stage.'" They're not all necessarily the same stage. Like how Anakin's podracer and the Millenium Falcon are both ships, but they're not "the ship." They're different. All right, well, that's a bad analogy, but it'd still be nice to use as few fan speculations on this wiki as possible. — Darth Katana X ( )
- Our calling something "The (noun)" should not be construed as our bestowing on it some kind of official name. Sometimes there are gaps, and we do our best to logically fill them in. We are not inventing new fanon material; we are simply being descriptive. Looking at the article, I don't see any suggestion that the stages are, in fact, one stage. There's even separate appearances sections. On a side note, please stop using discrepancies in insignificant articles as some kind of reason to hit the panic button. — It's dot com 21:35, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Suggest move to "Stages" or "Stage". - Qermaq - (T/C) 07:08, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- "Auditoriums" would work better in my opinion. — Darth Katana

- The stage is perfectly fine. As Tom said, this is what TBC calls them. Thus, we would be incorrect if we called it something else. — Seriously (Talk) 20:58, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- They call it "the stage" in reference to that stage. The other three stages are clearly not the same. Certainly the gym stage is not "the stage"? As for "auditorium", the gym stage again breaks that definition. - Qermaq - (T/C) 21:20, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- I could go for a move to "Stages". — It's dot com 21:28, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I suppose that would be pretty good. Now that Qermaq has explained, I can see why we should do that. — Seriously (Talk) 21:43, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- "Stages" sounds good, and there's support from several users. It makes logical sense, particularly Qermaq's statements. I think I'll move it right now. --DorianGray
