Talk:Strong Bad and Pom Pom's Relationship

From Homestar Runner Wiki

To me it would be notable if they were mostly friends but occassionally argued, or if they were mostly enemies but occassionally fought, but it appears to just be sometimes they get along and sometimes they don't. Delete. Bad Bad Guy 18:27, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

I just counted the points in the article myself and it's the exact same number for both "SB and Pom Pom Getting Along" and "SB and Pom Pom Not Getting Along." Bad Bad Guy 18:30, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
On the contrary, i find that this article captures the randomness of their relationship quite well. keep — Defender1031*Talk 18:34, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

i agree with defender. keep --Acam30 01:21, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes, but why should we record a random relationship? My request to write about Marzipan and Strong Sad got rejected because it was conlcuded that their relationship wasn't consistent enough. Bad Bad Guy 01:54, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
I think that one should exist also. — Defender1031*Talk 09:52, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Like I said way back when, I plan to wait until we find out for certain Strong Sad loves Marzipan. Bad Bad Guy 23:42, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
I would still like to know what purpose there is behind recording relationships that are too random. Bad Bad Guy 21:42, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Not random at all, Bad Bad Guy. I've found a pattern- Pom Pom sticks up for Homestar and himself when Strong Bad is mean, but usually gets along with him otherwise. Also, I'd like to add that when Strong Bad tries to associate himself with Pompom's movie's success in Technology, Pom Pom just put on shades and bounces away.--CoachG 15:57, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Relationship?

I think what Homestar means is that they are going out of the competition.Marvelrulez 13:27, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Possible addition

Should it be mentioned that in different town, Strong Bad doesn't change Pom-Pom nearly as much as some other characters, and said he would be exactly the same, sans a basket-ball type appearance. What do you guys think? Anybody? Zombies? Jelly? Grapity?--Randomnerd10 15:41, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

I agree, I was about to say the same thing. 99.226.10.146 20:42, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Talker

In the Homestar talker, Homestar says that Pom Pom and Strong Bad are totally going out. Is this relevant?

[edit] Image change

I felt that putting a JPG of Pom Pom hurting Strong Bad would be much more effective for the "lees than friendly" caption. I changed it, so if anyone wants to object, please say so. --Jellote 22:45, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

My bad. its a GIF, not a JPG.--Jellote 22:46, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
We tend not to use animation in articles (unless we're specifically illustrating a point). The fight sequence, while cool, is kind of distracting. — It's dot com 23:18, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
