Talk:Strong Bad is on Point
From Homestar Runner Wiki
[edit] Notable?
Given that two of the instances are actually the same thing, and that there's nothing really tying them together, i think this isn't really worth its own page. — Defender1031*Talk 16:49, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- It isn't. Omnisweater 02:56, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- I too call for a delete. The aforementioned reference may have pre-dated the On Point Kings, hence I say that the date email indirectly inspired that, but as stated, the actual quotation is too infrequent to have its own article (not to mention its godawful grammar from the original poster). - This needs to be Deleted. This "running gag" has only two references.--Record307 11:02, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

- Since there is only two appearances, I think there is no need for this article. Delete. Homestar-Winner (talk) 22:50, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Baleet! Delteat! Del Taco? Bubs! Not a running gag. --Fangoriously! Chat 00:24, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
People are too caught up in the "Three times" thing. It's not a hard-and-fast rule, it's a guideline. We should also look at the significance of a page on a case by case basis. That being said, I'm kinda finding it hard to justify the notability of this page, unless we can tie it more closely to the On Point Kings, or something like that. Have there been other instances of people being "On Point"? -132.183.138.34 01:11, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

- Well, the page got deleted before my question was answered, but from my own searching, TBC refer to Marshie being "on point" in the show. We could change the scope of the page from the expression "Strong Bad is on point" to just use of the phrase "on point"? (It originates from a military term, see take point, though it can also be used as a sporting term, like in regards to a basketball point guard, etc. In that case, we could list the on point kings, the two instances from this page, and the marshie one. Thoughts? -132.183.138.34
