[edit] How is it found?
How is this toon found on the DVD? I can't find it, it's NOT in the bonus stuff menu. --Homsar999 18:42, 14 Nov 2004
- Oh yes it is. Bonus Stuff Menu on Disc One. It's just hidden. I wouldn't know how to find it on an actual DVD player, but on my PC, I just moused up to the right of the BONUS STUFF header. --TheNintenGenius 17:54, 13 Nov 2004 (MST)
- You just highlight "Bonus Email 1" and keep pressing right until you see a Strong Bad icon, then press ENTER/PLAY. -woddfellow2|✎ 15:41, 13 Dec 2004 (MST)
- Shouldn't that be in the article somewhere? - Opus the Penguin 21:37, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Not old drawing style
This is not old drawing style. Homestar looks perfectly recent.
Ah, but notice Strong Bad's eyes and the color of Marzipans Dress.
And Homestar's lighter outline, and the lack of shading on the characters, Strong Bad's mexican accent, Strong Mad not talking, The King of Town's shinier crown, Strong Sad's longer arms... -Poopsmith Z
[edit] How does Marzipan sound?
How does Marzipan sound like on which episode? --80.217.162.254 03:53, 26 Mar 2005 (MST) Insertformulahere
She sounds like Strong Sad, Viklas. -Poopsmith Z
[edit] LUTE?!?
"Hold! Whilst thy banter is the freshest of any month-old fruit, I must away, you poppinjays! I'm off to find me lute! Forsooth!" How do we know it's not supposed to be "I'm off to find me loot!" instead of "lute?" →evin290 19:28, 26 Jan 2005 (MST)
- Er, because he's seen playing a lute later in the toon? And because "lute" fits the context much better? (He thinks he's a bard.) --Jay 20:37, 26 Jan 2005 (MST)
- That's True... The first time I saw it I just assumed he said "loot." Oh well...
[edit] Closed STUFF
These were on the STUFF page and declined. If you wish to contest the removal of any of these, post a comment here (make sure it won't be confused with any of the original votes).
[edit] The Only Time? (Declined)
This is the ONLY toon where the voice of Marzipan isn't supplied by Missy (it's supplied by Matt)
- Neutral What about mile? Maybe it is, maybe not. --ED!smilde
- Probably not. Mike does all the voices in the Powered By the Cheat cartoons. --acekirby13
Neutral, because I have no idea where this fun fact was. This really should be in one of the toon categories. --Upsilon- Probably Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True. And yeah, I created the "General" category for things that DIDN'T apply to one specific 'toon... gah... --Jay 06:46, 20 Dec 2004 (MST)
[edit] Screenshot
How de crap do jou get a screenshot for de DVD? Like, from off de TV? I would kill some juy to know dat right dere, jou know. --VolatileChemical 00:52, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC) Get a DVD drive for your computer. Most DVD Players should have a Capture tool. That's what I use, anyway.
Alternatively, you can use a video capture card and hook up your TV to it. MNGoldenEagle
[edit] I's
Does anybody know what font the word FiNiSH is written in? I'm trying to see if there is enough reason for there to be a page about an inside joke of lowercase i's that should be uppercase, so I want to know if it's Strong Bad's handwriting or not. Username-talk 03:17, 11 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- Just checked. Definitely nothing like SB's handwriting. Still lowercase "i"s in an otherwise-all-caps word. --Jay (Gobble) 04:44, 20 Jul 2005 (UTC)
[edit] What are they really saying?
When Homestar first sees everyone in his delusion, everything they say sounds like echos. But I'm not sure that the "echos", especially for Marzipan's second line and Strong Sad's line, match what Homestar hears. However, I can't make out exactly WHAT they're saying. Thoughts? --Jay (Gobble) 04:52, 20 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- Yes those two echoes definitely do not matching what they say. It sounds like Strong Sad is really saying "Welllll, <something> four year" and I can't get Marzipan's words at all except it sounds like the last thing she says is a whimper. --Tracey
[edit] Marzipan? Crap?
I believe that this may be the first time that Marzipan has said "Crap." -Fizz123
WEll, actually marzipan says crap in three times hallowen funjob too.
[edit] Strong Sad is Dressed As...
I am really convinced Strong Sad is dressed as a nun, not a monk. Monks don't wear those winged white hats, plus the robe design of white against black is more like a nun's. Someone back me up on this please. --Tracey
- It sounds like you may be on to something. I don't have my discs with me to check, so hopefully someone else will see this note. — It's dot com 02:21, 13 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Okay so how do I call attention to this so we can get some more opinions? --Tracey
It's a nun. TotalSpaceshipGirl3
- Hey, can someone get pictures of them for Other Costumes? - Joshua
[edit] YouTube
Is it really okay to have a link to a YouTube copy of a DVD-exclusive 'toon? --Jay (Gobble) 22:58, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- No. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 23:06, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Okay. I thought as much. I would have removed it if I was sure, but then, that's why I asked. --Jay (Gobble) 00:01, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- But YouTube is full of copyrighted stuff used without permission. --Trogga 13:34, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- If anything, that should be more reason not to link to it from here, wouldn't you think? The bonus features are the main things that make the DVDs worth buying. If you can get them without buying the DVDs then it reduces the amount of merchandise TBC can sell. The H*R site mainly still exists because they are able to support themselves by selling merchandise. You see where I'm going with this? --phlip TC 13:48, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- Our transcripts are kinda like watching the bonus features without buying the DVDs. --Trogga 13:55, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- As someone who doesn't have Everything Else, I can tell you that just by reading the decriptions from the transcript, I have no idea how the actuall toon looks like. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 15:06, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- But now that this is on the talk page people will know it's there. Quick! Delete this section! --ComputerBox 15:48, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- Wah! Need link! (Elcool: It's on the strongbad_email.exe DVD, not Everything Else. Or... is it?) ¤ The Mü Talk to me. 16:36, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's on sb_e.exe, but I meant transcripts in general. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:48, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, uh, since the YouTube video is long gone, should we mention in FF that it was at some point? --Jnelson09 18:03, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- Nah, I think that'd be a pretty useless fun fact. It's definitely a talk page thing. --DorianGray 19:02, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Variations
Should the medieval-y people be in Other Character Variations? Vol Chem, 1st Tile of Ical 12:26, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
No, probably Other Costumes instead. --Jnelson09 23:43, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Poopsmith?
Does the Poopsmith have his shovel in this one? I never saw it so I wouldn't know. - Pants 3000
[edit] Other inside reference?
Homestar's prancy song was used in Interview, should this be added to the list?
[edit] how come
am i the only one who's computer wont let me watch it because its restricted? i mean, does it have bad words? — 174.97.105.216 (Talk | contribs) 20:22, 11 May 2020 (UTC) (left unsigned)
- Not unless your mom's the kind of lady that won't let you type the word "crap". How are you trying to watch it? DVD? A YouTube video? Lira (talk) 02:27, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
no she wont let me type crap what does- oh. :P i dono it just says its restricted on youtube. also sorry i didn't sign my last one i'll sign it when i get an account
- AFAIK, any YouTube appearance would be bootleg. This is a DVD-exclusive toon. --Jay (Gobble) 22:48, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
yeah but, what if im not aloud to get the DVD. if its posted by TBC its not bootleg or whatever you called it. maybe that's why it wont let me see it thanks Jay!
[edit] Before they met
This was before they met Missy, right? Wolf O'Donnel 19:25, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- If the DVD Commentary Transcript is to be believed, then this was made in the summer of 2001, and Missy voiced Marzipan in the 2000 Halloween toon, so no. The Knights Who Say Ni 01:36, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
