[edit] Pasta salad
It sounds like Strong Sad says "pasta salad" there. It's very hard to tell what he's saying right then. I did my best to figure it out though.
[edit] From hockeyJ05?
Was the email from hockeyJ05 (as Strong Bad read, hockey-jock-man-uh-whatever) before or after this one? 'Cause Strong Sad said "hockeyjock". --VolatileChemical 17:16, Apr 27 2005 (MST)
- The email with "hockeymanJ05" was #69, personal favorites, and this is 91. So this email was after the original hockeymanJ05. →FireBird
[edit] Cheat talk
When Strong Sad is attempting to talk in The Cheat's language (the first time), I've listened about ten times and don't hear anything remotely similar to "Hodododododo!". Sounds more like "Wiggledy-wiggledy-woo!" A minor point, but I'm very gun-shy about editing especially in a case like this. Crystallina 19:40, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Closed STUFF
[edit] Peacy Prize (ACCEPTED)
Strong Bad's "Nobel Peacy Prize" is refering to the Nobel Foundation's Peace Prize.
- Accept. Uh... why was this stuffed? Unless people think it's too obvious? Aurora the Homestar Coder 22:13, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Very Weak Accept. I suppose, but does every joke need to be explained? -- tomstiff 13:41, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- When was the last time I accepted something? I've seen more obvious Real-world refs. Kvb 15:34, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- It is too obvious, but STUFFing it was unnecessary. Accept. --ISlayedTheKerrek 15:28, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Well, good to see people agree with me, but I just thought that since that Hoofton-Mifflin joke was very obvious, but it was still Fun Fact'd, so I just thought this shoudl be to. I guess I'll be adding that now. --VolatileChemical 16:59 Apr 27 2005 (EMT)
- Decline. The only difference between "Nobel Peace Prize" and "Nobel Peacey Prize" is the letter "y". Way too obvious. --Gafaddict 00:44, 3 May 2005 (UTC)
- Oh come on, Gafaddict, you gotta do better than that. --ISlayedTheKerrek 17:47, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
- Whee. You typed my username correctly. --Gafaddict 05:42, 8 May 2005 (UTC)
- Oh come on, Gafaddict, you gotta do better than that. --ISlayedTheKerrek 17:47, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
- Accept. Real-world references should be linked, no matter how obscure or obvious. (The spelling, however, needs to be fixed. Strong Bad says "Noble," not "Nobel," and "Peacy" is spelled differently in the transcript.) — It's dot com 06:17, 8 May 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Bushes (DECLINED)
This is the first time two layers of bushes have been shown.
- Decline. It's not very interesting or fun. Aurora the Homestar Coder 22:13, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

- Second. Bonk
- Decline. It's just too stupid. -Walking Armless
[edit] Salad As a RockStrong Sad saying "Salad... Salad as a rock" may be a take on lyrics from the song "Solid As a Rock," written by Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson. [edit] Ha Ha Ha
Gotta love hyped up Strong Sad. So funny. I hope he gets caffinated again. -Kinsey
this may not be the right place, you got your wish though
Coach Z looks funny without his hat. You can tell he's bald. Gm1121983 8:52 pm, 3 Feb 2006
[edit] quotes from gasoline on fire
donno where to add this, somone do it though on the left side it says 'about the author: Strong bad has atleast fifteen bucks in his wallet right now. bet that's more than you, poor person.' and on the right side 'somebody should probably be keeping an eye on this.' refering to the right side being on fire
[edit] Is this the first strong mad
didn't yell when he talks?
STRONG MAD: {in disbelief, and very clearly} Did you just say "parakeet"?
Nikolce Kocovski 06:01, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
- Quite possibly, although there's no way to be sure without watching all the 'toons before this one that had Strong Mad in them. If you want to, go ahead, but I think I'll pass. —AbdiViklas 06:10, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
- You might be able to argue that in In Search of the Yello Dello Deleted Scenes, Strong Mad's scene featured him "talking" rather than yelling, but the joke there was that Marzipan couldn't understand him no matter how he said his lines. I think this is the first time that Strong Mad actually speaks an intelligent sentence without shouting it or using broken English. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 19:06, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Goof?
I'm not sure if this counts as a goof, but when Strong Sad falls down, two hats are shown. Kiki 17:56, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, I'm not seeing two hats. Do you mean right as he's falling and the hat flutters back and forth? I could just be missing it. -- Tom 18:05, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- It's just in one frame if you watch it in slow motion. But maybe it isn't important enough to mention in the article. Kiki 12:18, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Jank" or "shank"?
This edit and a good bit of searching on http://www.urbandictionary.com to either prove or disprove it have got me thinking that when Coach Z says "You was tryin' to jank me," he was mispronouncing "shank". It seems to fit better in the context of what was happening. This entry for "jank" in Urban Dictionary, even though it mentions Coach Z, is very dissimilar to the others, so I think it can pretty much be discounted. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 22:18, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
Generally speaking, modern coloquial places the term "shank" as stabbingith a makeshift weapon. "Jank" is more often accepted as "steal/ swindle."

[edit] Another appearance of SS's soolnds?
When Strong Sad collapses on the ground after the caffeine wears off, you see the soles of his feet for a split second. There's some debate about what his soles look like in the soolnds page. I'd like to add to it, but I wasn't quick enough to get a screen cap of that frame.

[edit] Crazy Old Man?!?
Uh, I just listened carefully to the archived old version. No "crazy" there. Is this an error in archiving or an error in erroring? - Qermaq - (T/C) 00:36, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- I see Rogue has reverted to an HTML comment, but the question remains: is the archive we link to an erroneous one? Or is the transcript of it erroneous? Either way, changes need to be made. - Qermaq - (T/C) 01:22, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- (Sure, I'm replying to something almost a year old.) I was just listening to a copy of sbemail91.swf that I have had for quite a while.. It had "crazy old man" in it. Just listened to the sbemail91.swf on the H*R site, and definitely no "crazy" there. Huh. --AshyRaccoon 08:00, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- Can you put that online so we can have a look at it? Maybe photobucket? Loafing 08:01, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Is the printed banner at the end from an Apple II program?
I'm sure it is - a printed banner on a continuous dot matrix printer paper thingy... I vaguely remember the program. One of the options was printing those banners but another one was called Kaliedosocope. Wow that was amazing when it was the 80s. "Good graphics" anyone?
P.S. The CAPTCHA is nearly impossible to read.
[edit] Coach Z's floating head
I noticed that for one frame after Strong Sad slaps the Coach, his head is floating.
I'm not sure if this would be considered a goof or not, but I thought I might as well post this. ~16_BIT_MARIO1 00:28, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Murfreesboro
It's very nitpicky to think there's a difference between saying 'bro' and 'boro'. Strong Bad was just speaking quickly. also yeah I was having the captcha problem too for like a month. It's better now.
[edit] Strong Bad's Projects at the end of the Email
I happened to have noticed at the end, there's a bit of an overlay glitch when viewing Strong Bad's caffeine project and the gasoline project. It's hard to notice unless you observe it frame-by-frame, but you when viewing the gasoline project, you can see the Jalopy picture from the caffeine project behind the fire. Also the gasoline project is overlaid a couple of pixels off over the caffeine project. I've been trying to get pics of these glitches, but I'm having trouble since it's hard to accurately crop individual frames. Could anyone lend a hand? — Ngamer01 19:15, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
