[edit] Not a notice template:
I'm curious why this template is not considered a notice template? --Stux 20:30, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- It should be. Rather, it should be in a subcategory of "Image notices" and that should be in that category. — It's dot com 20:36, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- Ooooo! Great Idear! I'm on it! --Stux 21:23, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Update
Should we change the text of this template to reflect images like this? --Trogga 22:51, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- In the strict terms of the law, that image isn't being used in a manner consistent with Fair Use. In other words, this template doesn't apply to that image. -- Tom 06:58, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- By "not being used in a manner consistent with Fair Use" do you mean that it's not being used fairly or that it has nothing to do with Fair Use? — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 08:17, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- I mean it's not being used for identification and critical commentary relating to the website in question. -- Tom 16:19, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, that's what I thought. I just wasn't sure because I don't recall any of us ever actively (as opposed to passively) caring about that point before. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 00:26, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

- Yeah, that's only in strict terms of the law. Otherwise, it's probably Template:don't know. -- Tom 03:39, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
