[edit] Parody vs. reference

Hey 76.184.188.124. I've seen a lot of your edits recently, and they seem to focus around the "deletion" (couldn't think of a better word) of the word "parody" on the site. There's a HUGE difference between parody and reference. A parody mocks, or pokes affectionate fun at something, by copying the style of the work that is being made fun of. A reference, on the other hand, is pretty much something whose title has been said, quoted, or otherwise, however it is NOT in the style of the copied work. For more information read this page, this page, or visit your local library. Happy Wiki-ing! Bluebry 23:26, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
