[edit] Welcome to The Homestar Runner Wiki!
Hello, and welcome to The Homestar Runner Wiki! This is the best place, as you've probably noticed, to learn about anything and everything Homestar Runner. There are a couple of things you should read up on before you really start jumping in and editing -
- Take a look at the Wiki Standards to see how things work around here.
- Read up on how to edit at the Editing Help section.
- Read the FAQ.
- Read the MediaWiki User's Guide.
- If you're looking for more interaction with the users, our Chat Channel is always available, and we also have a Wiki Forum.
- The Stick is a place where you can find out some projects to do or committees to join, if you choose to.
- If you're still confused, check out the Introduction page.
If you have any questions, ask them up in the HelpDesk or ask some sysops or admins ('sysop' is just a special term for someone who watches over the wiki and has a few more rights than other users). I'm sure you'll catch on quickly, and all of the users are very nice here. Feel free to delete this message when you're done reading it, and I hope you stick around and join our team. Have fun!

[edit] Locked
The regular wiki isn't locked because it updated WAY before the fanstuff wiki did. 68.161.140.43 23:15, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Oh, thank you. Umm, who are you? H*R 700
{buzzer} 1.5 was recently released, so I don't think this one was upgaded first. EDIT: Yep, I'm right. If I was wrong, we'd already have seen features such as "Printable Version" and being able to choose namespaces on Recent Changes. --Color Printer 23:19, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Well, at least I know what the new Wiki-Upgrade comes with. H*R 700 09:42, 7 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- The stable version of 1.5 was just released. The fanstuff wiki is always upgraded first so they can see if the upgrade worked and what problems (if any) there are (a page is set up so people can report errors, bugs, and stuff), and because it is less important then the knowledge-base, so if they stuff it up (which probably won't happen) they can make sure it doesn't happen for the knowledge-base. When the fanstuff wiki gets sorted out, the knowledge-base goes through the same process. «Rob» 12:06, 7 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, it's true. We can't even freakin' browse it. Let alone edit it. TotalSpaceshipGirl3
[edit] Request
If you want to talk to me about something related to the Fanstuff Wiki, please do it here. Don't use my Knowledge Base talk page for Fanstuff Wiki-discussions. Thank you. - Joshua 18:47, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Your COPPA form
(In response to a comment you left on It's dot com's talk page.) I did receive your email, but unfortunately that's not enough to satisfy the requirements of the law. Since you're under 13, you need to have a parent or guardian sign that form in their own handwriting and you need to snail mail it to me. Once I've received a signed paper copy of the form I can activate your forum account. Oh, and FYI, Dot com isn't a moderator or admin on the forum, so he doesn't have access to activate your account. Only I or the other admins (Jones, Stu, or Tom) have that access. — Joey (talk·edits) 19:49, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Identity
You're not by any chance Timmy/Jibney, are you? If not, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. But if so, wouldn't it be better to simply have an admin let you back into any account you might have forgotten the password to, or change your name if you so desire, than to have yet a third account? —AbdiViklas 03:29, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
I doubt it. H*R 700 joined over a month ago, but I saw Jibney post just a couple days ago. He would'vce mentioned it, too. Unless he is. --SaltyTalk! 03:31, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
