[edit] Signature
Hey there, welcome to the wiki. I noticed you're having trouble with your signature. It looks like you forgot to check the box in your preferences to treat your sig as wikitext. Also, you may want to just put your sig code at User:Starteen/sig and just put {{User:Starteen/sig}} into your preferences so that if you ever decide to change it, the ones you've left in the past will change as well. Hope that helps. Once again, welcome, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, or any of the sysops or experienced users. — Defender1031*Talk 23:23, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Apparently I didn't explain myself well enough. Also, don't be afraid to post a talk response asking for clarification even if your sig isn't ready, you can always fix it later. That said, what i meant that you want to do is, in your preferences, for signature, put {{User:Starteen/sig}} and make sure the wikitext box is checked, then at the page itself, put the code for the signature, with the span tags and whatnot. Hope that helps. (And really, feel free to reply. It'd be nice to have some two-way communication, and I always enjoy welcoming new editors.) — Defender1031*Talk 23:49, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit] More welcome
Hey there, Kit Emily Star. We're always on the lookout for good artists around here, as they tend to have a good attention to detail. Speaking of, I'm glad you know how to punctuate Dr Pepper, and I agree that it's the best ever. Talk atcha later! — It's dot com 00:35, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Using Show Preview
Hello Starteen, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, — Defender1031*Talk 01:30, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
